Get ready to groove! Jambu Music Jam is back, bringing the best Brazilian vibes to a brand new location and time! We will be at Number 90 in Hackney Wick for the first time and starting earlier with doors open at 4pm.
Join us for a night of live music, dancing, and collaboration, hosted by the incredible Beloved George Band. Whether you’re a seasoned musician or just love to move, everyone is welcome to join the jam!
What to expect:
- A unique and collaborative music experience, where everyone is welcome to join in on their instruments or just by singing along and dancing.
- A night filled with the groove and energy of Coco, Ijexa, Maracatu, Embolada, Forro, Baiao, Funk, Soul, Samba, Bossa Nova, and more.
- Live performance by the host band “Beloved George”, a Brazilian fusion band based in London plus a range of special guests!
- A chance to experience the rich culture and music of Brazil in a fun and welcoming atmosphere.
- DJ Amar All on the decks during the night spinning the best of Brazilian dancing grooves!

About the Beloved George Band:
Beloved George is a Brazilian fusion band based in London. Their versatile percussion brings together the intense energy of Brazilian rhythms mixed with sounds from around the globe. Popular Brazilian genres such as samba, MPB, baião, and funk/soul set the tropical atmosphere, while the vocals, saxophone, and guitars add a rich flavor that prompts people to get up from their chairs, dance, and sing along. Beloved George is comprised of Danish and Brazilian musicians from various regions who build a bridge between Brazil and the UK with their playful and expressive performances.
